    Dietes grandiflora leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Francelle van Zyl

Dietes grandiflora grows long, linear leaves that are sword-shaped and stiffly fibrous. Arranged in multiple, dark green fan-shapes, they collectively form large clumps supported by creeping rhizomes underground. The leaves keep the plant evergreen.

Leaf dimensions are up to 1 m long and 15 mm wide (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
