The bi-lobed characteristic of Conophytum bilobum leaves seen here is clear to observe, but also different from the same feature in some other specimens depicted in this Album.
The busy surface of this compact plant body presents among other things some fruit capsules and old leaf husks scattered among the leaves, not to forget the long-tubed yellow flowers in bloom and near it. This plant must have already received some rain to stimulate all these growth activities (Smith, et al, 1998).
