This pale, pinkish purple form of Disperis concinna shows a very uneven surface upon its dorsal sepal, on the visible parts of the lateral petals positioned on its flanks at the rim of the hood and even upon the lateral sepals. The petals become about 5 mm wide. The lateral sepals have colour other than white only on their outer surfaces.
The strongest colouring upon the flower in picture occurs in patches on the outer margins of the lateral petals (Pooley, 1998; www.zimbabweflora.co.zw).
