Cyphostemma juttae in flower

The inflorescence of Cyphostemma juttae comprises many small flowers in a flat-topped cluster, a cyme, growing at a stem-tip or from a leaf axil. The flowers are cream to pale green or yellow. The four petals are hooded at their tips and disappear soon.

This a much sought after garden plant, grown from seed or cuttings. Plants should be kept dry during winter, over-watering is a risk.

Judging by gardener blogger comments on the Internet there must be large numbers of these plants in California and other parts of the south of the USA. Where the climate is colder and wetter, they are probably grown in containers and indoors (Smith, et al, 2017; http://davesgarden.com).
