The pale green and glossy Searsia undulata leaves in the photo are wavy in many individualistic ways.
Cream lateral veins ascend straight to the margins that are mostly entire and rimmed in pale yellow. The veins are fairly close together and mostly paired from the midrib. Midrib ridges usually found on both surfaces are not visible in the photo.
Leaf size varies, as do the tips that are rounded, square, notched and with or without apical mucros protruding.
The somewhat flattened-from-spherical fruit are pink-purple and shiny, not yet ripe (Coates Palgrave, 2002).
