The white flower of Agathosma crenulata are five-petalled and star-like. Pale pink or mauve ones also occur.
The ovate, spreading petals taper and elongate to the base and taper to the rounded tips. The five staminodes are short and petal-like, forming a small cup in the flower base. The ovary is translucently yellow-green inside this cup that also holds the nectar-disc. The long stamens have soft, fleshy filaments that taper in narrow cone-shape to their tips. Their anthers are small and pale brown.
The petals, stamens and staminodes arise from below the five carpels of the (superior) ovary (Manning, 2009; Bean and Johns, 2005; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000).
