    The flower of Oxalis ciliaris var. ciliaris grows solitary on a hairy pedicel with small, alternate bracts below the calyx. The brownish, hairy sepals are acutely pointed.

    The flower is white, salmon, rose or pink with a yellow centre. Flower diameter is about 15 mm.

    Flowering happens in autumn to winter or early spring. The photo was taken in September (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist; www.worldfloraonline.org).
