Cyanella alba subsp. flavescens in large stands forms part of spring in the Biedouw. At home in clayey soils of stony renosterveld places, they were found performing in sunny September conditions after winter rain.
More flowers face outwards than up. Most of the plants have solitary flowers, some producing a second one on a separate pedicel (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
