    Cyanella hyacinthoides buds
    Author: Ivan Lätti

Ready to present its first open flowers, this Cyanella hyacinthoides plant has produced pointed, green buds in an inflorescence that is sparse low down, while clustered densely at the top where the central axis has not elongated yet.

The peduncle is erect, thickish and cylindrical, its surface brown-green. The thin pedicels spreading from it are thin and wiry, still short in the upper part yet to develop (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
