    The plant base of Diascia whiteheadii shows soft, erect branches and leaves mainly in a basal or some low tufts.

    The elliptic to lanceolate leaves are shallowly lobed or sparsely toothed, the blades mid-green and slightly leathery (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
