An Anisodontea reflexa shrub may be 2 m tall but willowy and economically developed as this one on a rocky slope in the Little Karoo. This is a typical setting where to expect the plant.
The anisodonteas are rarely browsed. They tend to appear after fire (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
