    Braunsia geminata leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Louis Jordaan

The paired, thickly succulent leaves of Braunsia geminata are grey-green to yellow-green, smooth, waxy-surfaced and three-angled to rounded from deep keels. The equal leaf-pairs are fused in their lower halves and become about 1 cm long (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Smith et al, 1998; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
