Peliostomum leucorrhizum flowers grow solitary from leaf axils. Their pedicels are short and there are two small bracteoles at the base of each. The five-lobed calyces are divided to near the base, their lobes narrow, ending in acutely pointed tips. The lobe tips veer outwards from the time the corollas become visible at the bud tops.

The long corolla tubes are narrow and whitish in their lower halves, widening abruptly where they meet the upper halves, becoming ridged and dark blue to purple. Each corolla tube ends in five rounded, nearly equal lobes, partly joined and spreading around the mouth. Corolla lobe colour is blue, lilac or purple. The tubes are hairy, their much shorter tip lobes hairless.

The four anthers of each flower are equal, hairy and included in the corolla tube. The ovary has two locules, its thread-like style longer than the stamens and the stigma is small.

The fruits are beaked capsules in thin skins (Van Rooyen and Van Rooyen, 2019; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Shearing and Van Heerden, 2008; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
