The white to deep pink and sometimes fragrant Strumaria truncata flowers each has six narrowly obovate tepals growing in two whorls. The corolla is funnel-shaped, from 8 mm to 10 mm long.
The outer three tepals visible in the still closed buds, show more floral colouring on their outer surfaces than any other components of the inflorescence. Open flowers seem paler and even more so on the insides.
The six pale-anthered stamens are exserted but upside-down as the flowers nod from their pedicels. Their filaments cohere with the style nearer the base. The white, fleshy filaments in picture taper markedly to their tips (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; JSTOR; https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org; http://pza.sanbi.org; http://www.llifle.com).
