    The twist in Leucadendron linifolium leaves can sometimes be as pronounced and concerted as in the "stationary rotational" stem-tip in picture. Long, and narrow, the curved blades are unevenly and sparsely hairy.

    The thickened, cartilaginous tips are pinkish red; also among the earliest parts to develop in tomorrow’s leaves right in the centre.

    The photo was taken at Fisherhaven near Hermanus (Bean and Johns, 2005; Mustart, et al, 1997; iNaturalist).
