    The two or three prostrate leaves of Xenoscapa fistulosa are ovate, about 25 mm long. The soft-textured blades have definite midribs.

    There are also two or three small cataphylls at the base besides the leaves (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; Wikipedia).
