    The mouse-like mericarps, the fruits of Pelargonium elongatum, are hairy, ending in spirally twisted awns with long, silky white hairs spreading around them.

    Some flowers with creamy outer surfaces on their corollas, sepals ascending in a cone-shape around the corolla bases and some orange anthers above a flower centre are to be seen (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://www.fernkloof.org.za).
