This stand of Watsonia borbonica subsp. borbonica was seen during October in Sir Lowry’s Pass. Several clumps are doing well on the rocky outcrop after recent fire. The many-flowered spikes are long, the leaves reach to the lower parts of the inflorescences (Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
