    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The Watsonia fourcadei fruit is an oblong capsule that tapers. In picture it appears smooth with dull shine on dark skin and a papery brown bract covering some of the lower part.

The flowers appear to be on a second stem in the photo. It was taken near the road in Sir Lowry’s Pass (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
