Jamesbrittenia lesutica white flower

The white Jamesbrittenia lesutica flower appears like an ethereal being in flight. It mixes recognisable and random floral shape features in its spreading corolla lobes. Somewhat rectangular with tip notching, sudden curves and angularity, it provides pollinators and other admirers with much to appreciate and attract. Although the flower mouth is small, arriving insects with even little experience are bound to find it, making the trip worthwhile.

Visible green calyces end in diverging sepal tips. They look much the same with the young bud still inside it and when the old corolla has already departed (iNaturalist).
