    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

At home on a steep slope here in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho, this Jamesbrittenia lesutica bush appears as if well established for some years already. Although the branches from the base are strong and some young ones have joined the older ones, the substance of plant material is sparsely distributed in a see-through appearance, the going seasonally hard (iNaturalist).
