    The white to pink or purple flowers of Lampranthus sociorum grow solitary from stem-tips. There are five leaf-like, succulent sepal lobes below the petals. Between one and two whorls of narrowly oblanceolate petals ascend around the flower centre. A very short part of the petal bases are darker coloured.

    Numerous yellow anthers top the bunch of stamens. There are antherless, white staminodes around the stamens gathered in the centre. Nectary glands forming a ring are inconspicuous to invisible in the flower base.

    Bloomtime is spring (Smith, et al, 1998; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
