    This flowering Crassula tetragona contrasts with other specimens photographed in arid conditions and shown in this Album. It was found on the Tradouw Pass south of Barrydale in the Langeberg.

    Lower temperatures and more rain contributed to this altered appearance. The month is October and the flowers are starting to open (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
