    The flowers of Muraltia satureioides are pink or white on short pedicels. The calyx is small. The lower petal is keeled, the other four rounded and spreading. Flowering happens from late winter to autumn.

    The fruits are prominently horned and have stiff hairs (Manning, 2009; Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010).
