The flowerheads of Othonna quinquedentata are borne in loose clusters on long almost leafless, branched stalks.

The small yellow daisy-type flowerheads measure 3 cm across. They have about five ray florets around the densely flowered discs, also yellow. The rays are ovate with rounded tips.

A single row of joined involucral bracts, shorter than the florets, hold them at the base.

Flowering happens throughout the year (Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iSpot).
