Crassula cultrata with green leaf margins

Crassula cultrata leaves may also be green all over, without the red, horny rims. The branches may tend to spread, forming a dense, succulent mat.

The flower stalk has persisted with dry remains of its summer flowers for the photo in May.

The rocky hillside where this well-watered plant was seen is in the south of the Little Karoo near Van Wyksdorp.
