The flowers of Jamesbrittenia pristisepala grow solitary from upper leaf axils, the inflorescences long and crowded.
Each flower has a long corolla tube with characteristic kink typical of the genus, but in this species it may be further back from the spreading corolla lobes than in some other jamesbrittenias. The flower is about 11 mm wide, the corolla tube 11 mm long and 2 mm wide. The petal lobes are lilac or purple to cream or nearly white, dark at the mouth around the yellow or white inside the throat. The petal shape is oblong, notched, two-lobed, about square or rounded at their tips. The tube is purplish.
Flowering happens from late spring to after midautumn (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
