The flowers of Schizoglossum hilliardiae are produced in clusters of three to nine on long peduncles from outside leaf axils. The green or purple, hairy calyces have acutely pointed tips.

The small white corollas are longitudinally lined in brown along the five narrowly oblong to slightly obovate and twisting petals or corolla lobes. Their lateral margins are rolled under, the tips somewhat pointed. The corolla lobes are up to 7,5 mm long and 3 mm wide.

The green outer corona lobes are erect, tapering to acute tips. There is a dark purple inner corona.

Bloomtime is summer (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
