This large Hymenolepis crithmifolia shrub was seen flowering at the beginning of November in the Caledon Wildflower Garden. The large honey-scented flowerheads will not be missed by the pollinators, presented with much work and opportunity per plant.

The finely divided leafy greenness contrasts well against the flowers, suggesting this plant for parks and large gardens in the winter rain region (Manning, 2007).
