Flowers of a single species and colour may dominate in a particular Namaqualand site, forming part of the overall charm of the regions spring flowering. The diversity of plants found in other spots along the road may be equally breath-taking.
This plant probably belongs to the Dimorphotheca genus, maybe Dimorphotheca sinuata.
