    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The leaves of Cyphia digitata have three to seven narrow lobes dissected to the base. The lance-shaped lobes taper to rounded tips and fold in along their midribs. Their margins are sometimes finely and variably toothed. A leaf lobe may be 2 cm long and 3 mm wide (Manning, 2009; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
