    The yellow flower form of Aloe arborescens is much rarer than the red one.

    A well-growing plant will branch into many stems tipped by rosettes, each of which produces two or three single or slightly branched racemes. Floral abundance can be remarkable as in this picture taken in the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden during May.
