    Dark purple spots may occur on all three sepals of a Disa saxicola flower. The spurs are nearly straight in the photo, pale yellow green and without spots. No spots are seen on the lips either.

    There are spots on the erect, curving green bracts though. Some pointed tips and margins of these bracts are reddish purple in the photo, rendering them quite floral. The ovaries in picture, consorting with the bracts, are green and spotted (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; http://orchids.wikia.com).
