    Galpinia transvaalica flowers grow in panicles from upper leaf axils and stem tips. The pale green and white buds, pointy from the developing parts waiting to unfurl, are clustered densely together on short stalks in the photo.

    The open flowers become 6 mm long, 3 mm in diameter (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Schmidt, et al, 2002).
