Tulista minima var. minima leaves

Tulista minima var. minima grows a leaf rosette that becomes about 7 cm in diameter, carrying about 50 leaves. The sometimes slightly incurved leaves are lance-shaped, reaching 7 cm in length, 1,5 cm in width and 4 mm in thickness. The leaves taper to sharply pointed tips that in habitat often become yellow or black.

Leaf surfaces are green in various shades, covered in round, white tubercles, often arranged solitary in transversal rows. The notable keel in the upper half of the lower leaf surface is central, carrying a row of tubercles (Scott, 1985; www.theplantlist.org).
