This photo allows inspection of the four spreading sepals of Passerina obtusifolia flowers. They are obovate and concave, paler pink on the inside than on their outer surfaces. The cream anthers on pink filaments are between oblong and triangular in shape. Flowers are positioned in leaf axils near stem-tips.

The in-curving stubby leaves are spaced around the stem, revealing a velvety white stem surface.
