    The pointed corolla lobes of Erica quadrangularis are conspicuous here on the white flowers, some with a hint of pink. Although the anthers are included inside the corolla, some of the widely open flowers facing the camera show that they are dark.

    The needle-like leaves grow in whorls of four on the upper stems. They are often pressed against the stems and sometimes hairy (Manning and Helme, 2024; Baker and Oliver, 1967; iNaturalist).
