The tall Crinum moorei inflorescence has a smooth green scape, mostly erect and between 60 cm and 1,2 m long. Each flower in the umbel of five to twelve flowers grows on a long pedicel of between 3,5 cm and 9 cm, varying in length in the same umbel.
Some flowers have already been lost from the inflorescences in picture, maybe removed. The photo was taken in the Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden early in March.
There are minimal dry remains of the bracts that had earlier covered the then small buds of each umbel. These spathe bracts are lance-shaped, from 5 cm to 12 cm long and 1,5 cm to 3 cm wide. They dry early and become reflexed (Duncan, et al, 2016).
