    Abutilon ramosum leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Ivan Lätti

The leaves of Abutilon ramosum are broadly oval to heart-shaped (ovate-cordate), occasionally shallowly three-lobed. Leaf surfaces are dark green above, paler below, sometimes velvety.

The leaves in picture have little sign of hairs, more of a quilted texture from conspicuous, sunken net-veining. The margins are shallowly toothed or scalloped (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iSpot; www.zimbabweflora.co.zw; www.backyardnature.net).
