    Othonna parviflora leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The alternate Othonna parviflora leaves are stalkless or nearly so. The leaf-shape is lanceolate with rounded or pointed tip and tapering base. The smooth surfaces are leathery, grey-green and often wavy.

The leaves may have whitish midribs as in the photo. The margins may be toothed with small, sharp looking teeth as here, or entire when not graded between the two possibilities. The leaf dimensions are 12 cm long by 6 cm wide (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
