    The broadly rounded petal tips of the Acmadenia mundiana flower are closer to white than the pale to bright pink they start off with when opening. Flower diameter is about 1,5 cm. Each stamen has a gland at its tip. The throat is closed.

    A branch-tip may bear up to about three flowers. Flowering happens almost throughout the year, most during winter and spring (Manning, 2007; Mustart, et al, 1997; www.plantzafrica.com).
