Euryops tysonii flowerheads

The sweetly scented yellow daisy flowerheads of Euryops tysonii grow solitary on stalks of about 4 cm from leaf axils near stem-tips, forming crowded terminal clusters. A few short, yellow ray florets spread around the densely flowered central disc, also yellow. The flowerhead is about 1 cm in diameter. Flowering happens from spring to autumn. The fruit is hairless and ribbed.
