    Lapeirousia arenicola grows one narrow, basal leaf, yellow-green with longitudinal ribs. It is longer than the flower stem, but often not erect.

    There are broader and shorter stem-leaves, sword-shaped and obliquely curved with visible, parallel veins and obtusely pointed tips (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
