    Author: Ivan Lätti

These glaucous leaves were thought to be Amphibolia maritima, another coastal species of the genus in the west of the country, but A. maritima has been merged with A. laevis.

The buds, stalked here, have turned pinkish as they approach opening. The sepals are unequal, the two longer ones dominating. Some leaf-tips in picture curve to the side (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Smith, et al, 1998; iNaturalist).
