The simple, alternate leaves of Felicia brevifolia are clustered along upper stems on short petioles or nearly sessile.
The plant is sometimes called the shortleaf felicia. The specific name, brevifolia, is derived from the Latin words brevis meaning short and folia meaning leaves.
The leaf-shape is elliptic to wedge-like, the margins entire or variously lobed, in picture mostly three-lobed near the tips and some slightly toothed lower down. The grey-green blades are thickish, often curving in and covered in soft, whitish hairs. Leaf length varies from 5 mm to 15 mm, the leaf size variable.
The hairs on this plant range from felty to short and bristly or glandular (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; Wikipedia).
