The hairy leaves of Erica glomiflora var. glomiflora grow scattered up the young stems. Short and oblong, the leaves have margins that are rolled under. There is a whitish gap below from denser hairs on the lower surface.
The yellow-green leaves at stem-tips ascend, the dark green ones slightly lower down spread (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Moriarty, 1997; iNaturalist).
