    The nodding Erica glomiflora var. glomiflora flowers are urn-shaped, occasionally white as here, more commonly shades of pink including deep pink to magenta. The four corolla lobes are shallowly rounded or scalloped and straight or slightly out-curved. The slightly sticky flowers become from 6 mm to 10 mm long.

    The eight purplish stamens included in each corolla bear hairy tails. In picture they darken the necks of the urns. The dark styles are sometimes exserted as in the photo (Manning and Helme, 2024; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Moriarty, 1997; iNaturalist).
