The petals of these short, tubular Erica globiceps subsp. consors flowers are pale pink to their acutely pointed lobe tips. The dark, oblong anthers are well exserted. The white style, much longer than the stamens is protruding conspicuously from among the anthers.

Pollinators have no great difficulty in acquiring and distributing pollen under these conditions. Accessing nectar may be more of a mission.

The small, grub-like leaves ascend close to the stems. This subspecies is only found in the Hermanus fynbos (Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
