    The droop of lateral petals displayed by this Eulophia zeyheriana flower might thwart identification if the lip were to go unnoticed. The cylindrical spur at the back of the flower, emerging from the lip, is one third of the lip's length, obscured in the photo. The broad white outer surfaces of the lateral petals with their purple front margins and faint division into two halves, give some clarity.

    The shiny dark sepals, modest in size and darker in this specimen are characteristic (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; iSpot).
