The cluster of ovate leaves of Euphorbia tuberosa is borne at ground level. The leaves are broadly round-tipped, their tips often notched as in the photo. The glaucous blades are unevenly wavy and slightly hairy, particularly along the margins that are entire.
The leaves and other plant parts exude a milky latex in keeping with that characteristic of the Euphorbia genus (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
